There’s a new claim circulating that “Intelligence Officials say U.S. has retrieved craft of non-human origin” (thedebrief.org). The story, in short, is that David Charles Grusch, a US military veteran with experience in intelligence and recon work, served on the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019-22 and that he is now coming forward as a whistleblower with claims that the United States military has retrieved crafts made by non-human intelligences.
There is just one little problem that readers of The Debrief’s article may have noticed: Grusch has presented no evidence of these craft existing. Nevermind that their supposed non-human creation is entirely unevidenced.
The supposed items are “in the possession of highly secret black programs” that are classified. According to The Debrief, “Several current members of the recovery program spoke to the Inspector General’s office and corroborated the information Grusch had provided for the classified complaint.”
This is an emerging pattern in UFO and UAP claims. The evidence is supposed to exist, but is hidden away, classified, secret, etc. and the supposed whistleblower is unable to provide evidence in support of their claims. Why would this person, who now claims to want to advance accountability and oversight of the government fail to gather evidence of his claims before leaving?
In contrast, look at Edward Snowden and his whistleblowing activities. Regardless of our thoughts on his actions, one cannot dispute that he gathered evidence and sent it out. Hundreds of thousands of documents were allegedly taken and leaked by him (wikipedia.org). These leaks substantiated his claims and showed that he was telling the truth about programs he claimed existed.
But Grusch has presented no such evidence. No photos of the alleged crafts. No reports from individuals involved. No maps or floorplans of facilities. No alien language examples. No alien technology descriptions. Nothing but claims.
So far.
I can honestly say I hope and want Grusch to substantiate his claims of non-human crafts. It would be the single most amazing discovery in the history of humanity. But like so many other claimers of UFO knowledge and awareness, Grusch has not provided evidence of his claims, yet. Let’s hope that I can post an update to this article later in time when Grusch has given useful evidence.
